Shipping & Returns

Our full policy on delivery, returns, refunds, and warranty for purchases from Joe Tyler Art. Questions? Get in touch via the contact page.

Shipping Information

Domestic Shipping (UK)

Standard delivery within the UK is 5-10 business days. We ship using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed or specialist art courier depending on the item size and value. All packages are fully insured and tracked. You’ll receive tracking information via email upon dispatch.

Shipping costs: Calculated at checkout based on destination and item type. Small prints typically cost £5-12. Original paintings are quoted individually.

International Shipping

We ship worldwide. Delivery times vary by destination (typically 10-30 days). International orders are shipped via DHL, FedEx, or other specialist carriers with full insurance coverage. Import duties and taxes may apply depending on your country—these are the responsibility of the recipient.

Shipping costs: Calculated at checkout. International rates are higher due to insurance and courier costs.

Packaging & Care

All artwork is carefully packed in protective materials. Prints are wrapped in archival tissue and shipped in rigid mailers. Original paintings are wrapped individually and boxed securely. We take extra care to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition.

Tracking & Insurance

All shipments include tracking and full insurance cover. You’ll be sent a tracking number via email so you can monitor your delivery. If a package doesn’t arrive within the expected timeframe, contact us immediately and we’ll investigate with the courier.

Delivery Address

Ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout. We cannot be responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Delivery is to the address you provide during checkout.

Returns & Refunds

Return Window

Prints and products can be returned within 30 days of purchase if they are unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition. Returns must be initiated within this 30-day window.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom commissioned artwork (non-returnable as it’s created specifically for you)
  • Original paintings purchased as-is
  • Opened, used, or damaged items
  • Items ordered on a personal request or special commission basis

How to Initiate a Return

Contact us via the contact page or email hello@jtylerart.com with your order number. Provide photos of the item if there’s a fault. We’ll provide return shipping instructions.

Refund Processing

Once we receive your return and verify it meets return conditions, we’ll process a refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or there was an error on our part.

Refund Amounts

Refunds will be issued for the full purchase price. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item arrived faulty or damaged.

Damaged or Lost Items

If Your Order Arrives Damaged

Contact us immediately with photos showing the damage. All items are fully insured. We’ll work with the courier to file a claim and will either send a replacement or issue a full refund. You should not refuse or refuse to pay for a damaged package—we handle all claims.

If Your Order Doesn’t Arrive

Contact us with your tracking number. We’ll investigate with the courier. If the package is confirmed lost, we’ll file an insurance claim and either send a replacement or issue a full refund.

Limited Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure items arrive safely, Joe Tyler Art is not responsible for damage caused by the courier after handoff, acts of God, or damage resulting from improper handling by the recipient once delivered.

Warranty & Authenticity

Print Quality Guarantee

All prints are guaranteed to be printed on archival paper using professional-grade inks. If you receive a print with a defect in printing, colour, or paper quality, we’ll replace it or refund your purchase.

Authenticity

All signed prints include a certificate of authenticity and are numbered as part of the limited edition. Original paintings come with proof of authenticity from Joe Tyler Art.

Limited Edition Prints

Each print design is limited to 100 numbered editions. Once the edition is sold out, no reprints are made. Your certificate confirms the edition number and total number in the series.

Custom & Commission Orders

Commissions

Custom commissioned artwork is created specifically for you and is not returnable. A 50% deposit is required to begin work. If circumstances change after the commission has begun, contact us to discuss options. Any changes to the original brief after significant work has been completed may incur additional costs.

Commission Revisions

We welcome feedback during the creative process. However, major revisions or changes requested after the bulk of the work is complete may incur additional costs. It’s best to discuss any concerns early in the process.

Custom Print Sizes

Custom print sizes or formats can be ordered. Pricing is quoted per request. Custom prints are still subject to the 30-day return policy if they’re unused and in original condition.
