Artwork statement

This painting is about lots of different things happening at once. Faces, symbols, colours and shapes all interact across the surface, each bringing their own energy into the piece. I wanted it to feel lively and unpredictable, like a conversation where different voices and ideas overlap but somehow still belong together.
