Painted on reclaimed wood from a washed-up boat found on Bournemouth Beach, this piece is about finding something steady during difficult times. The beacon stands against the changing weather and restless sea, offering a sense of direction and hope. The history of the wood felt important to me, becoming part of the story of the painting itself.
