Artwork statement
This painting changed a lot while I was working on it. Faces appeared, disappeared and then came back again through different layers of paint. I wasn’t trying to tell one specific story. I was more interested in capturing different moods and emotions within the same piece, allowing people to find their own meaning in the faces they see.
